AAPAC's mission is to expand the perception of Asian American performers to increase their access to and representation on New York City's stages. Authors of the annual Visibility Report provide hard data to back up feelings of invisibility within the Asian American theatre community. The Report's findings have contributed to gains in diversity for Asian American theatre artists. 100% of your donations will help us continue to release our annual Visibility Report, forthcoming Toolkit to help theaters nationwide create inclusive environments for AAPI/Asian artists, and undertake a variety of other initiatives to address and challenge issues in the theater industry, including Yellowface, Orientalism, and inclusion/safety for AAPI/Asian artists.
