About
Welcome to the 2nd annual Marin Mile!
Marin is home to a rich and storied history of running. After our inaugural race in 2024, we are psyched to bring you the second edition of the Marin Mile. This event is for everyone— whether you want to jog, run, or race a mile on a historic local track!
The Marin Mile offers multiple heats to welcome runners of all abilities. The event culminates with our “Elite” men’s, women’s, and non-binary races, where we’re hoping to witness the first sub-four-minute mile on Marin County soil.
The Marin Mile is proud to support Running For A Better Oakland (RBO). RBO empowers Oakland K-12 students to set goals and build confidence through running. A portion of all Marin Mile proceeds will go towards advancing RBO’s mission.
This USATF-sanctioned event features electronic timing to ensure accurate results for all participants.
PAST RESULTS
In the inaugural Marin Mile, Olympic Trialist Dana Klein set a Marin County women’s mile record with a time of 4:47.
