Onnit Gym HYROX Race
About
ONNIT Gym is hosting the Austin Fitness Community for a full HYROX Race Simulation! Join us solo or with a partner as we test out our HYROX race fitness! As a single athlete or team of two, we will complete 75% of a HYROX race: that means 6 stations and 6 runs ( a full HYROX is 8 stations, 8 runs). The events will happen in HYROX order, with 6x 1K runs before each of the following:
- 1000m ski
- 50m sled push
- 80m burpee broad jumps
- 1000m row
- 100m lunges
- 100 wallballs
no sled pull or farmers carry due to equipment limitations
YES, YOU CAN DO DOUBLES! Like Hyrox Doubles, you will run together, and then split the workouts up however you like (50/50, 90/10…)
We'll also be hosting vendors on site, including Roka sunglasses, CENTR official HYROX equipment, Switchback electrolytes, LMNT electrolytes, PLUNGE cold plunges, and more!
HOW TO SIGN UP:
BOTH MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS - please ensure you sign up in two places:
- book the Oct 19 class at www.onnitgym.com/small-group-training (all athletes, including both doubles partners, must book here!)
- Reserve your heat time (on this page below!) otherwise you will be randomly assigned a heat! If you're planning to do a team of two, only one partner needs to book a heat below!
SCHEDULE:
keep in mind - this is one of the busiest weekends in Austin with F1 and Texas vs. Georgia - plan for more driving time!
9:00am - Show up, jog the running lap, and warm up!
9:15am - Walk-through the course
9:30am - first heat starts!
PRICE:
Members - free
Non-members - $35 ONNIT drop-in (includes day-pass access to sauna, cold plunge, and recovery area). This can be paid via booking on www.onnitgym.com/small-group-training or in-person (please arrive early to pay in person)'
